The Lunar New Year (often referred to as Chinese New Year in the U.S.) is an annual 15-day festival occurring in late January or early February based on the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar. In 2019, the first day of the Lunar New Year (LNY) falls on Tuesday, February 5th, denoting the arrival of Year of the Pig.
